Blog feedback

This blog has been an interesting assessment task. It is very different to any other university task I have undertaken and so it was a nice change.  At first the technicalities of setting up a blog, something I have never done before, took up quite a bit of time, but once I learned how to use the website it became quite a simple and creative way of presenting my knowledge. I very much enjoyed being able to choose my own topic to write on and was more willing to do the work because I liked what I was researching and writing about. The blog increased not only my knowledge on my chosen topic but also on different writing styles. Some of the writing styles were ones I hadn’t encountered before and so I found myself unsure as to whether I was completing that aspect correctly. While it was sometimes difficult to find relevant material in French, I did enjoy being able to use various sources, such as videos.  I believe my vocabulary increased as a result of the research I did for the blog and the feedback I was given has shown me some of my common writing errors. Overall, there were some good benefits from making this blog.
